A new chapter — and a thank you.

Many of you found this page during a difficult time, when you trusted me to care for a member of your family. I've never forgotten what that meant.

I'm writing with some news: I've started something new. I'm now a licensed real estate agent here on Cape Cod with a family brokerage in Dennis, Chatelain Real Estate.

The work looks different, but the heart of it hasn't changed. Being someone you can count on when a decision really matters. If a move on the Cape is ever on your mind, or someone you know is weighing one, I'd be honored to help.

Thank you for having trusted me when it counted.

As Pawsitive Memories winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible honor it has been to care for so many beloved companions over the past four years. While this chapter is closing, I want to make sure families still have trusted, compassionate options for aftercare.

I wholeheartedly recommend three family-run facilities that I know and trust deeply:

✨ Petrichor Aquamation in Woburn, MA
✨ Nature’s Pawprint in Providence, RI
✨ Paws Finding Peace in Chicopee, MA

Each of them carries the same compassion and dedication that has guided my own work. I have the utmost confidence in their care, and I know they will serve families with kindness, respect, and love. ❤️

After four years of walking alongside families through some of life’s most tender goodbyes, the time has come for Pawsitive Memories to take its final steps. We are no longer accepting new clients, and the weight of that decision has been felt deeply in my heart.

From the very beginning, this work was never just about a service—it was about love, dignity, and honoring the bond between people and their beloved companions. The countless stories shared, the tears, the thank-you notes, and the trust you placed in me will stay with me always.

We will continue to thoughtfully and lovingly care for every pet still entrusted to us, making sure their journey is completed with the same compassion and attention that has defined our work since day one.

To everyone who has been part of this journey—families, veterinarians, friends—thank you. You have given me the privilege of doing something truly meaningful, and I will forever be grateful.

If you have any questions or need to reach us, please don’t hesitate to call 774.413.5385 or email [email protected]. We remain here for you during this transition.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Erik Tarvin

"I came to you late last night to be with you while you slept.
I lay my head on your pillow, while next to me you wept.
A gentle smile kissed your lips, as I licked away a tear.
Until your time to join me, I'll be waiting through the years." 🤎
