Brian Jay Carlson, born on July 24, 1965, in Middletown, CT, passed away peacefully in Newark, IL, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A dedicated machinist, Brian's commitment to his craft was matched only by his passion for life and the joys it brought him.

Brian is survived by his two beloved daughters, Justine and Jules Carlson, and his grandchild, Oliver Mudd. He is also remembered by his father, Richard Carlson, and his brother, Daniel Carlson, along with his sister-in-law, Stephanie Carlson. Throughout his life, Brian cultivated many hobbies that brought him joy, including playing guitar, hunting, and spending time with his dogs and horses. He was known for his love of a good lobster roll, often sharing these moments with family and friends.

Brian's warm spirit and love for the outdoors will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His laughter and kindness will leave a lasting impact, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
