May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A thriving family begins with nurturing the emotional well-being of our youngest members.

Parents, schools, and caregivers work hard to create environments that support healthy development. Yet, there are times when a little extra, specialized support can make a meaningful difference in a child's journey.

Children often process the world through play and creativity. By incorporating the expressive tools like play, art, and movement, Link therapists provide a safe space for children and adolescents to explore their experiences and emotions.

The Link Counseling Center provides quality, affordable, confidential psychotherapy and support for families. To schedule an appointment call 404-256-9797.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Today, we’re looking at romantic partnerships. A common misconception is that couples counseling is only for relationships in crisis. In reality, it is a powerful space for deeper connection and mutual understanding.

In today’s post, we’re sharing how couples counseling at The Link addresses relationship distress by exploring present-day patterns and past influences, like our families of origin. It offers a unique opportunity to heal together from emotional wounds, while cultivating an enriched sense of intimacy and growth.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Our relationships are some of the most meaningful parts of our lives, but they can also be the most complex.

Today, we’re looking at Family Therapy through the lens of "Systems Theory" which introduced the idea that problems are not created in isolation but arise as a result of unhealthy patterns of relating. While we are each individuals, we are also interconnected. We constantly are being influenced and influencing others.

At The Link, family therapy is about the whole family sitting down together to share stories, heal, and identify the unique strengths that help a family thrive.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a journey. For many in our community, that journey is cut short by financial barriers.

At The Link Counseling Center, we believe everyone deserves counseling, psychotherapy, and support, regardless of their income. When donors commit to a monthly gift, they provide the steady "nourishment" our neighbors, children, and families need to grow through their hardest seasons.

Will you be one of our generous donors? Your recurring monthly giving ensures that the cost of therapy is not a barrier.

Commit to a year of Healing & Hope. Set up your monthly gift at the link in our bio. Once on our website, click the Donate tab and follow the prompts to "The 1971 Club".
