A school backpack is a heavy weight that your kids carry daily πŸŽ’ This coming week, make sure to remind them about the importance of maintaining proper posture to help carry such a heavy load without hurting themselves.

Check out this handy posture guide (and you can screenshot it in our stories) on what to look for when doing a posture check.

Also, remember these reminders:

1. Pick the right backpack with good support and even distribution of weight.
2. Position your backpack correctly.
3. Use both straps (and the chest support strap if available)
4. Adjust straps to the correct length.
5. Pack only the essentials for the day, and try not to bring all your books and notebooks daily if you don't need them.
