🏈⚽🏀 Sports Physicals with In-House ECG
Florida now requires a 12-lead ECG for all high school athletes before they can compete. Whether or not the science fully supports a one-size-fits-all mandate, the law is the law — and we've got your kids covered.
As part of our Direct Primary Care membership, we offer sports physicals with in-house ECG at no extra cost — no surprise bills, no separate cardiology office visit, no runaround.
And while we're checking boxes on the new requirement, parents should know what the evidence actually supports when it comes to saving lives on the field:

Here's what also matters: athlete hearts look different from non-athlete hearts. Without proper interpretation, a completely normal athlete ECG can be mistaken for a problem — leading to unnecessary worry, expensive follow-up testing, and sometimes even kids being pulled from the sports they love. We interpret ECGs using athlete-specific criteria, and when needed, we can also obtain outside expert cardiology review.
So let's get the ECG done — and done right — while keeping the focus where it belongs: keeping kids safe and in the game.
