Today, Central Carolina Hospital partnered with a local EMS team to provide Early Heart Attack Care (EHAC) education and Hands-Only CPR training for students in the Academy of Life Sciences at Southern Lee High School.

A special thank you to Dr. Chaubey for sharing the importance of recognizing the early warning signs of a heart attack and taking action quickly, and to our EMS partners for demonstrating lifesaving Hands-Only CPR techniques.

We are proud to help equip these future healthcare leaders with knowledge and skills that can make a difference in their communities.

After weeks of severe pain from a non-healing wound, James Wicker found relief and healing through Central Carolina Hospital’s Wound Care Center. With his wife by his side, he recently rang the healing bell to celebrate completing treatment — and getting back to the things he loves most, including traveling, golfing and swimming.
We’re cheering James on as he returns to life pain-free, and we’re grateful for the wound care team who helped him get there!
