Kidney and blood therapies often intersect with cancer care, patients receiving dialysis or apheresis while also managing treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, or a childhood blood cancer diagnosis. It's a reality our clinical teams encounter regularly, and one worth recognizing directly.
This month, we're pausing to honor everyone navigating that intersection: patients, families, caregivers, and the clinical teams working alongside them.
Gold represents childhood cancer. Red represents blood cancer. Orange represents leukemia. Green represents lymphoma. Burgundy represents myeloma.
Care is more than a treatment plan, it's presence, courage, and dignity, especially on the hardest days. We're grateful for every clinician and caregiver who shows up with that in mind.
