We are proud to have been a screening partner this past weekend for No Curveballs: Rally for Type 1 Diabetes Early Detection, presented by the King of the Hill Foundation, the San Diego Padres, and Beyond Type 1! ⚾️💙

In just 3 hours, our Screen & Support team screened 153 individuals for type 1 diabetes!! By identifying more people in the early stages of type 1 through early detection, we can provide stage-appropriate diabetes self-management education, monitor glucoses over time, offer therapy proven to delay progression, enroll in clinical trials, and ultimately prevent DKA, and instead provide a "soft-landing" into stage 3 T1D.

Our next purveyor, and Taste of the Vine 2026 Dinner Wine Sponsor, is Fess Parker Winery! 🍇

“When Fess Parker purchased the 714-acre Foxen Canyon Ranch in 1988, his dream was to start a family business that future generations would want to be a part of, expand upon and ultimately make their own. Fess passed away in 2010 but the businesses he founded remain in good hands with second and third generation family members stepping up and taking the reins. His wish to remain family owned and operated is alive and well.”

Meet Dovecote Estate Winery, our second Taste of the Vine 2026 purveyor! 🌟

“Dovecote Estate is dedicated to growing and crafting wines that allow the beauty and character of our land to speak through them. Representing the heart of the Alisos Canyon AVA since 1990, our uniquely own-rooted vines and sandy-limestone soils have produced small quantities of intensely concentrated cool-climate Rhône fruit, with the daily marine influence slowing and extending ripening for uncommon complexity and grace.”
