Similar to neck braces that are used after a trauma. Sometimes when we feel the collar against our chin we are reminded that we ought not rotate our head so swiftly: these masks have value. Permeability as well as reminding us to physically distance and to not touch our faces. It’s not a cure but a layer of protection. The fact that some of these reality stars forget that the camera are around so do we forget to not touch our faces. A barrier could help.
