PMWC 2027 program framework is FINAL.
Two exciting additions:
First, a NEW three-day program spanning translational omics, spatial biology, precision immunology, and precision neurology & neurodegeneration.
Second, Nobel Laureate Emmanuelle Charpentier will receive the inaugural J. Craig Venter Visionary Award for helping open the era of programmable biology.
PMWC 2027 will feature five tracks and 15 programs across three days:
TRACK 1: NEXT GENERATION THERAPEUTICS
With Nobel Laureates Emmanuelle Charpentier and Randy Schekman, Katy Rezvani, Antoni Ribas, Marcela Maus, David Miklos, Frederick Locke, Jay Bradner & Adrian Krainer.
The focus: off-the-shelf cell therapies, solid tumor failure, post-PD-1 immunotherapy, bispecifics and ADCs, AI-enabled development, genome/ RNA editing, and N-of-1 medicines.
TRACK 2: AI & COMPUTATIONAL MEDICINE
With Nobel Laureate David Baker, Andrew Ng, Daphne Koller, Ziad Obermeyer and John Halamka.
The focus: multimodal diagnostics, computational pathology, foundation models, AI agents in clinical workflows, clinical decision support, real-world evidence, AI safety and AI-driven drug discovery.
TRACK 3: PRECISION DIAGNOSTICS
With Mary-Claire King, Rebecca Fitzgerald, Nickolas Papadopoulos, Sarah-Jane Dawson, Max Diehn, Joe DeRisi and Alexandre Loupy.
The focus: early cancer detection, liquid biopsy, MRD, therapy selection from blood, fragmentomics, transplant monitoring, infectious disease and blood-based diagnostics beyond cancer.
TRACK 4: INTEGRATED PRECISION MEDICINE
With Eric Lander, Wendy Chung, Lee Hood, Victor Dzau, Hal Paz, Nir Barzilai, Andrea Maier, Michael Snyder and Alexander “Zan” Fleming.
The focus: rare-disease diagnosis, population screening, long-read sequencing, health-system implementation, reimbursement, GLP-1 biology, digital biomarkers, prevention and healthspan.
TRACK 5: TRANSLATIONAL OMICS, SPATIAL BIOLOGY, PRECISION IMMUNOLOGY & PRECISION NEUROLOGY & NEURODEGENERATION
With Nobel Laureate Thomas Südhof, Sarah Teichmann, Aviv Regev, Garry Nolan, Alex Shalek, Miriam Merad, Jeffrey Bluestone, Li-Huei Tsai, David Holtzman and Henrik Zetterberg.
The focus: single-cell and spatial atlases, spatial biology in clinical practice, immune reset for autoimmune disease, CAR-T and Treg approaches, Alzheimer's blood tests, neurodegeneration biomarkers and AI-powered neurological diagnostics.
