Healthy teeth aren’t just about brushing twice a day. A few small changes to your child’s daily routine can help lower their risk of cavities.
💧 Rinse with water after meals and snacks
If brushing isn’t possible, have your child swish with water for 10–15 seconds. It helps wash away food particles and gives saliva a chance to protect their teeth.
🧀 Choose tooth-friendly snacks
When it’s snack time, reach for options like cheese, plain yogurt, fresh vegetables, whole fruit, or nuts (when age-appropriate).
🥤 Make water the drink of choice
Water is the best drink between meals. Save juice, sports drinks, flavored milk, and other sweet drinks for mealtimes instead of sipping them throughout the day.
Healthy smiles are built one small habit at a time.
