LONG POST✌️No Chat GPT here- honesty and vunerability⬇️⬇️
Laying it all out- heart wide open with nothn' but PURE intentions.
I am living my dream- 100% livn' & lovin' my dream and I will be FOREVER grateful for this opportunity.
I about DIED literally creating Patriot Nutrition from an idea.....from just 1 simple sentence spoken out loud at a nutrition club in Elizabethtown KY.
"I want to do this for my community."
But, I need to share a blanket statement because sometimes we don't have time to stop and think, about the other guy" Hey, I never even thought of that or I had no idea."
My husband, Matt Sims and I took this dream of mine -put Christ right in the center of it and with the help of close friends & family , we built our business from the ground up.
It has been sooooooooo hard- sooooooo challenging- so demanding. I wake up at 4 am answern' questions and creating content to answer all questions and I go to bed doing it every single day.
You small business owners out there- u feel me?
Personally speaking, it is MY LIFE❤️It brings me JOY and a ZEST for life I wish I could bottle up and sell. 😂🤩🥳🫢🤔
My family outside my home misses me. I know this. My close friends miss me, and that balancing act I am actively working on daily. My husband, daughters, and son gets me. They get ALL that I HAVE and AM.
They see what I have had to do and will continue to do and we are actively pursuing good quality conversation(not just surface level) & quality time together. That is what is most important to me.(Daily Bible Study every am 1st thing before anything)
It is easy when things don't go the way we want, or distance occurs for reasons such as this to let our emotions and thoughts run wild.

Know me- you know this about me.
That is why I love my people so much. They may not understand it. But, This is who I am.
My son taught me this valuable lesson when I was trying to get him to Love sports like I do. He insisted me to open my eyes and see him for him. I am thankful -I got the lesson and it has deepened our relationship as only a mother can appreciate.
I want to be with my family just as much as I think about them, but I can't. I want to be with my friends when they are having fun and I can't. It is not humanely possible. But, here's the thing. I AM DOING WHAT I LOVE. I LOVE TO BE PRODUCTIVE. I LOVE TO WORK& I AM TAKING THE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES. (Just did- my rose bushes are thriving👏🏻If you know my Papa, Anthony Bender, this is where it stems from I am sure.
There are no problems though. I LOVE EACH ONE OF U DEARLY.God gave us each desires, dreams, and a purpose. I have found mind. I am who I am. I am 45. I was made this way.
So, please don't push what you want from me or how you want me to do things. So please no suggestions or opinions about slowing down or doing this or doing that. My close family and I are on the same page and I am actively resting/recharging/rejuvenating myself regularly. Shared ALOT about how I do that with 80 participants on the 75 HARD challenge I hosted online with Patriot Nutrition and Jesus that we just wrapped up.
All this to say, I have ALOT of problems. I have worked the last 2 months with bad side effects from my medcine I have to take for my
Life long battle with stomach problems with high fevers. My dad has stomach problems too and has been soooo sick the last 2 weeks and that is breaking my heart to see him that way. You wouldn't know that because I am ALWAYS trying to shine the light and be positive but I can't do that when people keep trying to take from me or push their problems and their insecurities on me.
Again, I will never be the one that wants sympathy - we all have our burdens we carry. Some just carry them more gracefully than others.
I ask that you please remember I am human. I am doing the BEST I can. If you want more from me, my apologies, but I can't give it. I am committed to my relationship with Jesus, my husband, my family, my friends, and Patriot Nutrition. If you need someone to listen, there is a NEW, WONDERFUL counselor across our hallway at Patriot Nutrition. He is a professional and he can listen and he can help guide you through your problems and concerns.
I have to focus on the mission God has given me. All said with love and respect.
Before, at Patriot Nutrition & at our workouts we could give each customer extra attention. Now, the tourists have discovered us and we have an AWESOME -NEW product(Protein Smoothie Bowls) we don't have extra attention to give.
With that said, also want to point out my dear- dear friend Ashley Marshall- Kirkman. She just lost her husband ya'll. LOST the LOVE of her life physically gone. Stop and think about that for a moment. I pray that it gives you perspective.
We are humans- We love you.
Menus- recipes- hours- pictures- questions..... I can't say that I can continue to respond to alllllllll of them. Almost all info can be found online. We are working on creating one central website for Patriot Nutrition, but now with duck days and new product and our tourist community showing up for us. We are trying to figure it all so we ask fo grace.
