Bridget did an amazing job speaking as the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation Ambassador at their recent conference in Orlando! Bridget is a skilled advocate and represented a patient perspective in a workshop about MELAS (mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episodes).

Way to go, Bridget!

We had the absolute best time attending the annual Day on the Beach

​From adaptive kayaking and beach wheelchair rides to soaking up the sun with great music and even better company, the day was all about pure joy, independence, and accessible fun. We are so incredibly grateful to Shared Adventures and all the wonderful volunteers who make this magical, barrier-free day possible every single year.

​Our Monarch community is already counting down the days until next year! 🦋💛



Lo pasamos de maravilla en el evento anual «Day on the Beach».

Desde el kayak adaptado y los paseos en silla de ruedas para la playa hasta disfrutar del sol con buena música y una compañía aún mejor, la jornada estuvo llena de pura alegría, independencia y diversión accesible. Estamos profundamente agradecidos con Shared Adventures y con todos los maravillosos voluntarios que hacen posible este día mágico y sin barreras año tras año.

Check out these amazing meals! Kevin cooked up a delicious feast: a cheesy Alfredo bake and tacos! 🌮✨

​Behind the scenes, it took a lot of great planning. Staff provided support with grocery shopping and prep, while the chef of the day put a whole lot of hard work and heart into bringing it all across the finish line.

​We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, dedication, and effort shown here. Way to go, Kevin!


¡Echenle un vistazo a estas increíbles comidas! Kevin preparó un delicioso festín: ¡un plato de Alfredo al horno con mucho queso y unos tacos! 🌮✨

Detrás de cámaras, todo requirió una excelente planificación. El personal brindó apoyo con la compra de los ingredientes y la preparación, mientras que el chef del día puso muchísimo esfuerzo y corazón para llevar el proyecto acabo.

Estamos increíblemente orgullosos del trabajo en equipo, la dedicación y el esfuerzo demostrados aquí. ¡Bien hecho, Kevin!
