Baby Loss Awareness Week culminates with the global "Wave of Light" candle-lighting ceremony on Thursday, October 15. We invite members of the Santa Cruz community to join us in the Monterey Peninsula Foundation Rehabilitation Garden at Dominican Hospital for a pregnancy and infant loss remembrance.

On Thursday, Oct. 15, Dominican Hospital is hosting a "Wave of Light: Pregnancy Loss and Infant Remembrance Ceremony" open to all staff and members of the Santa Cruz County Community.

Join us for a candle-lighting ceremony honoring pregnancy and infant losses around the world as part of the global "Wave of Light" perinatal loss observance. All are welcome.

If you are unable to attend, we would be privileged to honor your loved one by including their name on our memory tree.

Celebrating 8 years of funding women’s health at Dominican Hospital from our Women of Wellness (WOW) Council!

We hosted our annual Social at the UCSC Arboretum with a featured presentation by Dr. Sharron Tapper on Dementia.

This month is focused on Breast Cancer Awareness, and the Watsonville Police Department is raising funds to support services at Dominican Hospital's Katz Cancer Resource Center.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ​t​he WVPD is participating in the Pink Patch Project.

100% of the profits from select pancake meals will directly benefit the Katz Cancer Resource Center​ at Dominican Hospital. Through this initiative, we come together with our community to help provide support and resources to local families facing breast cancer.

Be sure to visit the Pink Patch Project booth, where you can purchase Pink Patch merchandise and take a photo with ​t​heir pink police cruiser.

Annually, the Dominican Hospital Foundation raises funds from the community to invest directly in our work here at Dominican Hospital. Last fiscal year, the Foundation raised $3.49 million from over 950 constituents.

We celebrated this success in their honor and 85 Years of Caring for the Community at Chaminade Resort & Spa during our annual Donor Appreciation Reception on September 15th. The event featured 10 impacted departments and programs to showcase how these donations directly enhance the patient care experience.
