Playing around with adding wind gong to Singing Bowl Vortex #4. This console layout prompted a speciality percussion grip (traditional grip) on gong that I wasn’t expecting this morning. While not recommended for beginners, traditional grip did solve the sticking issue and presented a unique challenge of “touch” on the instrument. That said, I dig the gong between each vortex cycle. They blend well together.

I know most of my writing is technical, but I also try to bring levity and lightness to them as well.

The best piece of writing advice came from my Dad. He told me that before I start working on a new piece that I need to decide if I’m writing with fire 🔥 or with light 💡. Fire writing is meant to spark discussion. Light writing is meant to illuminate on a topic. So far, I mainly write with light.
