There is something special about neighbors coming together to help children start a new school year with confidence.

BeeHive Homes is excited to host our School Supply Drive, and we invite our residents, families, team members, and community to join us in making a difference. Every notebook, backpack, box of crayons, pencil, and folder donated helps local students walk into the classroom feeling prepared and supported.

Together, we can help fill backpacks with the tools children need and remind them that their community believes in them. Thank you for helping us make this school year a little brighter for local families.

📚 Donations are now being accepted at BeeHive Homes. We look forward to seeing the kindness our community shares.

There's a question almost every family carries into a tour and almost nobody asks out loud: what would she actually *do* all day?

So we wrote out an ordinary day. Not a highlight reel — a Tuesday.

Coffee when she wakes up, not when a schedule says so. Breakfast cooked in a kitchen down the hall from her bedroom. A card game that's been running for two weeks. Everyone at the same table for lunch, telling the same stories twice. The clouds building over the mountains around three, and the whole porch filling up if the rain comes. Somebody awake all night, so a bad night is never faced alone.

The part families never see coming is the friendships between residents. You can visit your mother every single day and still not be able to hand her a peer — someone her own age who remembers the same songs. That only comes from living alongside other people.

The ladies enjoying time together on the porch with colorful lollipops, fresh air, and great conversation. A little sunshine, a sweet treat, and good company can turn an ordinary afternoon into a special memory.

One of the most underused resources in senior care? The VA's Aid and Attendance benefit.

Many eligible wartime veterans and surviving spouses can receive additional monthly funds to help with the cost of care — and a lot of families never apply because they don't know it exists or assume they won't qualify.

In a state with as many veterans as New Mexico, it's worth a look.

If you know New Mexico, you know this time of year by the smell — rain moving across the desert on a July afternoon. At our homes, monsoon season means gathering at the windows to watch the clouds build, then stepping outside after the storm when the whole world smells brand new. Small moments, shared together. That's what home feels like here.

The flowers in the lobby were beautiful. The cookies were warm. You still learned almost nothing.

A good tour is designed to impress you — which is exactly why you need to know what to ask.

The right questions cut past the presentation and into how your mom will actually be cared for on an ordinary afternoon.

We made you the list.
