Caregiver Day was a wonderful opportunity to bring together organizations, caregivers, families, and community partners who are dedicated to supporting older adults.

From valuable resources and services to music, entertainment, and meaningful connections, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and a shared commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event so special. 💜

The New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department’s Office of Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care is seeking public feedback on the Roadmap to Address Dementia and Brain Health 2026–2031 DRAFT.

This roadmap will help guide New Mexico’s dementia and brain health infrastructure for the years ahead, and everyone’s voice matters.

We encourage community members, staff, people living with dementia, caregivers, care partners, families, and anyone impacted by dementia or brain health concerns to review the draft and complete the public comment survey.
