Seeing clearly again is life-changing!

Before clear lens exchange, patients say they struggle with driving at night and feeling frustrated by blurry vision throughout the day.

Clear lens exchange replaces the eye’s aging natural lens with a new clear lens designed to improve vision and reduce dependence on glasses. For many people, it can be a long-term solution for clearer vision at multiple distances.

Our wonderful patient Kathy says in this video, “I wish I had done it sooner.” If you’ve been relying on glasses everywhere you go or feel like your vision is holding you back, this may be worth learning more about.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Awareness Month
Follow the American Academy of Ophthalmology's seven essential steps to take control of your eye health and reduce your risk of AMD.
Step #7- Know your family’s eye health history
If you have a close relative with AMD, you have a 50 percent greater chance of developing the condition. Before your next eye exam, speak with your family about their eye health history. You may need more frequent eye exams based on your family history. https://www.aao.org/eye-health/tips-prevention/family-reunions.

Step #6- Monitor your sight with an Amsler Grid
This simple, daily routine takes less than one minute and can help people with AMD save more of their vision. Got Questions About Cataracts? We’ve Got Answers.

Whether you're just starting to notice changes in your vision—or you've already been told you have cataracts—understanding your options can feel overwhelming. That’s why we created this in-depth video with Dr. Goodman, answering the six most common questions patients ask about cataracts.

🎥 In this video, we cover:
🔹 What is a cataract, really?
🔹 How do you know if you have one?
🔹 Should you visit your optometrist for a diagnosis?
🔹 Can you still get cataracts if you have an ICL lens implant?
🔹 What are the different lens options during surgery—standard vs. premium?
🔹 And how are cataracts actually removed? (It’s quicker and easier than you think.)

If you or a loved one is facing cataract surgery—or you're just curious about your eye health—this is a must-watch.

👓 Watch now to learn what to expect and feel confident in your vision care.

Step #4- Take the right kind of vitamins
Vitamins can delay progression of advanced AMD and help people keep their vision longer if they have intermediate AMD or advanced AMD in one eye. But make sure it’s the right combination of vitamins. A recent study found that some of the top-selling products do not contain identical ingredient dosages to eye vitamin formulas proven effective in clinical trials.

Step #3- Eat a well-balanced diet 🥗🥦🍎🐟🥜
