Happy to find these new JonnyPops at my local Whole Foods Market. The front of the box and the back label clearly states that they are, “made in a peanut free facility”, see the second pic for the box label. My favorite Jonny Pops are the Chocolate Fudge but I saw these and they have coconut water, added electrolytes and fruit juice, making these perfect for warm summer days☀️😎

Found these Like Air Snacks at my favorite local market Bob’s Market and they look so good! The bag clearly states that they are made in a nut free facility, so there is no risk of peanuts or cross contamination from peanuts. Second photo shows the bag’s label and third pic is from their website’s faq section. Thank you Like Air Snacks for having a nut free facility! Can’t wait to try these🍿

Loving these special star shaped Pretzelized crackers for 4th of July. Hope everyone is having a fun and safe 4th of July holiday🇺🇸. I find these crackers at my local Whole Foods Market.

The label clearly states that they are, “Produced in a facility that DOES NOT process peanuts and tree nuts”, see the second pic for the box label. Thank you Pretzelized Snacks for having a peanut and tree nut free facility!

I am officially obsessed with the Free2b Foods Company Sea Salt Caramel Cups, they are soooo delicious 😋 ! Their products and their facility are peanut free so there is no risk of cross contamination. Also, “we take the safety of our customers with food allergies very seriously here at Free2b. Our production facility is free of the top 9 food allergens, mustard, and added sulfites, as are our products.“ Thank you Free2b for understanding food allergies and having a facility free of peanuts along with the top 9 allergens.

🚨‼️Another recall for undeclared peanuts! “Fly By Jing is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles (single pack and 4-pack) because the products may have been exposed to cross-contact from peanuts…Peanuts are not an intended ingredient in Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles. Fly By Jing discovered a third-party manufacturer produced the product on equipment that also processes peanuts under conditions that may have led to peanut being in Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles.”

‼️This is another perfect example of why it is so important to be sure a product is made in a peanut free facility. Even if peanuts are not listed in an ingredient list that does that mean that the product is peanut free. If the label does not list any allergen risk or disclose information about their facility you need to reach out to the brand directly and ask, ‘do any of your products contain peanuts/peanut oil or are made in a facility with peanuts/peanut oil?’. Only if a brand is transparent and answers ‘NO’ to both questions will I enjoy their products.

Super tough week and it’s only Wednesday so it’s time for a little stress baking 😆I looked through my pantry and realized I had all the ingredients to make Oat Muffins using a King Arthur Baking Company recipe I had been wanting to try. I decided to use olive oil instead of butter and they came out delicious 😋 just what I needed to refocus my mind and let go.

All the ingredients I used today I’ve found are and made in peanut free facilities:

Flour-King Arthur Baking
Rolled Oats-One Degree Organic Foods(photos of the bag are the second & third pics)
Baking powder-Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods
Milk-Straus Family Creamery
Brown sugar-Wholesome
Vanilla extract-Spicely Organics
Salt-Real Salt
Eggs-Lily’s Eggs at my local farmers market
Olive Oil-Buon Gusto Farms that I also get at the SMFMS

Yay!🥳Saw Oat Haus granola at my local Whole Foods Market. Oat Haus makes granola butter, which is so good, and granola in their own facility. Their facility is nut free so there is no risk of cross contamination. The bag has a clear label and I posted a screenshot from their website faq section too, first pic. Thank you Oat Haus for understanding food allergies and having a facility free of peanuts. All three granola flavors look so delicious.

Wow! So happy to see this from LAist. There are several restaurants that I didn’t know about, can’t wait to try these.

If you’re part of the food allergy club — the group of people who can go from fine to anaphylactic after one wrong bite — eating at restaurants isn’t casual. It’s high stakes.

A miscommunication on the line, incomplete information from a server or a shared griddle can mean an EpiPen injection and a trip to the hospital.

Unlike intolerances, food allergies can be life-threatening. The immune system treats even trace amounts of an allergen as a threat.

🚨‼️Another recall for undeclared peanuts! “Karns Foods is voluntarily recalling its approximate 8-ounce packages of “Mini Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cups” because they may contain undeclared peanuts…The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the peanut-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanuts as an active ingredient. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s packaging processes.”
