Summer travel season is here, and whether you’re heading to the coast, catching a flight, or enjoying a weekend getaway, it’s important to keep your hearing aids protected while you’re on the move:
✔ Pack extra supplies
Bring chargers, batteries, cleaning tools, and domes so you’re prepared wherever you go.
✔ Protect against heat & moisture
Summer temperatures, humidity, and sweat can affect hearing aid performance. Store devices in a cool, dry place whenever possible.
✔ Use a travel case
A protective case helps prevent accidental damage while traveling.
✔ Be mindful around pools & beaches
Water and sand can be tough on hearing technology. Remove devices before swimming and keep them dry.
✔ Don’t ignore changes in sound quality
If your hearing aids suddenly sound weak, distorted, or intermittent while traveling, moisture or debris may be the cause.
At Audiology Associates, we want you to stay connected to every conversation, family gathering, and summer memory, wherever your travels take you.
