Today wraps up a very special week of Employee Appreciation, led by our wonderful Employee Appreciation Resident Committee.

Throughout the week, residents wore special appreciation badges as a simple but meaningful way to let our team members know how grateful they are for all they do. Appreciation signs were also placed throughout campus to help spread the message.

Our residents wanted to make an extra effort this week to remind our team members that their kindness, dedication, and hard work do not go unnoticed. From the heartfelt moments to the big things, our team makes a difference in the lives of our residents every single day.

August 31st marks the end of a month long celebration of Spring Lake Village's 40th Anniversary! Some of the activities, to name a few, was our amazing opening reception gala, Name That Tune 1980's style, History class with 1986 highlights, life at SLV photography slide show, special neighbor to neighbor coffee, delicious gourmet food, custom made banners, canvas bags and t-shirts, celebratory worship, 1980's cardio dance, all-star bocce game, and special musical guests. You think this celebration was over the top? Wait until we celebrate our 50th!

Our 40th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, marked the end of a week long celebration of special events and activities in honor of our anniversary. The gala four-course dinner featured locally grown produce, local artisan cheeses, filet mignon and lobster - all served with special complimentary w**e. Dessert included a summer peach frangipane tart with a custom made white chocolate 40th topper. What a feast!

Our week long 40th anniversary celebration kicked off on Wednesday evening with an extravagant appetizer reception. Residents and our special invited guests enjoyed numerous appetizer stations of gourmet flatbreads, specialized salads, chilled seafood bar, local Marin and Sonoma County cheeses, grilled vegetable bar, charcuterie board and many different decadent desserts. Two custom ordered ice sculptors added the perfect touch. Ch*****ne popped and w**e poured as party goers roamed the multiple room event. It was a delicious evening filled with live music, great food, friends, neighbors, staff and laughter. A photobooth was provided as an event souvenir to remember this very special occasion!
