Weekends for me are about getting out in nature, usually on a trail run in my happy place of Annadel. You can also find me in my other happy place on weekends… my kitchen. Move your body and fuel it with nutrient dense foods! Tonight’s menu was one of my fams favorite, Greek bowls with kale, chicken, my homemade tzatziki sauce plus all the fresh veggies! Yum! Enjoy the weekend 💗

Having flexibility to indulge here and there when you are on vacation is ok! It was just interesting to see how my body felt afterwards, I don’t do much dairy or sugar at home. Sugar is inflammatory people, not something we should be consuming regularly. If your body is in chronic pain, detox sugar and see how it feels 💗

I feel like I’ve succeeded as a parent when I see my kiddos still loving each other, being playful and spotting each other 💗 I’m doing my best, educating them on healthy eating and exercise habits and they are listening to my advice (mostly 😛). If not at 100% now I know it will translate into their lives later.
