Thanks everyone for your sweet concern…. It’s true, I’m closing my little clinic here at Daulton Wellness effective 5pm October 31st.

I am 100% a-ok, healthy, and well. I’ve decided to close these doors after a year of deep introspection and also very difficult business coaching!

I plan to stay in the area and continue practicing, just with colleagues and environments where I have the support I need to thrive. There’s much more joy and healing to come!

I really appreciate all the loving words and check ins. I’d get on my newsletter (link in bio) for future updates, and I’m offering a customer appreciation rate for the remainder of October (sending Friday).

It's officially time to start cooking soups and easily digested, warm foods. I've included some tips on how to transition softly into Fall by honoring "returning to the center", prompted by the Fall Equinox (Sept 21).

This post is a brief reminder on the importance of the Fall Seasonal transition. I want to thank author and Nutritionist Paul Pitchford from his seminal text Healing with Whole Foods (3rd edition, North Atlantic Books) for the inspiration and much of the information in this post. From Pitchford: “...

I'm diving into the topic of inflammation for the next series of blog posts. A beautiful, vital physiological process that can become problematic... come get the what, why, and how we can effectively and safely treat chronic inflammation with herbal and Chinese medicine techniques.

Recently, I've been digging into my interest (and fascination) with inflammation, a process innate and crucial to our wellbeing. The term has gotten a bad rep in recent years, which is well-deserved when we're talking about chronic inflammation, rather than acute inflammation (see below). So I'm her...

I recently sent out a survey to every patient for the past twelve months. I was nervous to send it out because I can't always see the value that I provide, generally because:
A: Patients get better and I don't hear from them -or-
B: They keep coming back and I don't feel that I'm healing them.

Well, I was astounded to hear the positive feedback I received from that survey. Does the value of my services meet the cost? YES, said all 32 respondents with the majority saying the value exceeds or greatly exceeds the cost 🥰!

This quote came as a gift from a patient. I am so grateful to my patients for their feedback. It bolsters my confidence in this ancient medicine and in myself as a practitioner.

This is a special time of the year called Pitṛ Pakṣa, or the ‘Ancestral Fortnite’ in the Indian calendar.

Whether you're in the "Love Fall!" or "Meh no thank you" camp on this season, engaging with meaningful and deep ritual is a great way to support the seasonal transition (and benefit others).

I wrote about it and some lovely offerings in this month's newsletter (link in bio or https://conta.cc/4dq4sRy).
