Had a nice time yesterday volunteering at the Alzheimer’s Association booth during the Novato Senior Health & Resource Fair at the Margaret Todd Senior Center!

I was especially glad that Lauren Vreeland Long stopped by to chat, and that we were able to take a photo together. Lauren serves as Chair of Age + Disability Friendly Novato and is an Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Association District 2.

It was inspiring to see so many organizations, health professionals, volunteers, and community partners come together to support older adults, caregivers, and families throughout Marin County.

I’m grateful to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association and help connect people with resources and support for those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Thank you to Age + Disability Friendly Novato, City of Novato Parks & Recreation, all the exhibitors, volunteers, and attendees for making the event such a success!

Had a wonderful evening at the Community Education Series hosted at Santa Rosa Hills Senior Living focused on the importance of palliative care and compassionate support for individuals and families.

Had a great time at the Cinco de Mayo event at Vine Ridge Senior Living in Cloverdale with Executive Director Carla Lua.

Fun celebration with good Mexican food, festive decor, and all for a meaningful cause supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. ❤️

It was great connecting and working with Paige from Streamline Healthcare Advocates.

We recently had the chance to support a client together, and it was a good reminder of how important it is to have the right people in your corner when navigating healthcare. Paige brings such a thoughtful, compassionate approach to care coordination and support that really makes a difference.

I had such a fun time celebrating CareKeepers’ one-year anniversary and new office location! It was a wonderful event filled with great people, meaningful conversations, and positive energy. It was a pleasure connecting with Maria and Nina from CareKeepers, as well as Paige from Streamline Healthcare Advocates. Great event at Santa Rosa Hills Senior Living!

Mike Ballesteros from Tender Rose gave an informative and inspiring presentation on dementia care, and the new community looks beautiful. It was also great connecting with Sean Baron, the Sales & Marketing Director.

Looking forward to seeing this wonderful community open soon!

And of course… the ice cream was a nice bonus 🍦

One of the hardest realities for couples is uneven needs. One spouse may be doing well, while the other is facing memory changes or higher frailty.
