Normally I would not post about politics of business page. Next tuesday's proposition 5 will have a huge effect on our industry. The fine print of the legislation is stating that once they would dissolve personal property and move all that investment to the state into sales tax that they would be able to apply sales taxes to services As well.
In the past, when you get many services, we are not required to charge sales tax. These services typically include hair services, massage services, spa services, and i'm sure many others.
Adding sales tax to these services. While inflation is the way it is is a hardship to the customer and the business. It will require a ton of more paperwork, clerical job tasks, and in the long run lowers our income creating capabilities. If they require the business owner to do a 7 to 10 percent tax on your services. That increases the cost of every service, and the labor. If that same service provider needs to increase their prices due to the hardship of inflation. The customer will then have two increases in the next several months or years.
Personally, I think the government needs to be more efficient with using the money They have before, they ask us to pay them more.
The proposition to me seems like a transfer of tax.Not an elimination.
It's a fast and important NO for me.
I hope everyone votes in these small elections. They are the most important elections.Because they tend not to have good turnout and the politicians know this tend to put legislation that they don't think they could get passed in a general election Where more people pay attention i vote in almost every election.Because I consider it my service to the military. And I care about the future of our country
So I hope everyone's voting, i'm not they're teaching their children to grow up and vote. Are votes only matter if we show up. Those who don't vote do vote. That's a statement. Silence permission. In some cases. Not voting to me is that.
No matter how you vote, your muscles deserve pampering and I am here only to try to make sure our services can stay affordable. And everyone realizes that this will affect many services. If you vote yes.
Wishing everyone an awesome day today. And always.
