“I’m fine.”
I hear that from high-performing men all the time.
And technically, they are.
They’re still working. Still leading. Still training. Still taking care of their families.
But dig a little deeper and something has changed.
Energy isn’t the same.
Focus isn’t as sharp.
Sleep is off.
Recovery takes longer.
Their body isn’t responding like it used to.
And because it happens slowly, they adjust to it.
That’s how a lower level of performance starts to feel normal.
I recently joined the Home of Healthspan podcast, and we went deep on why this happens—and why being told your labs are “normal” doesn’t necessarily mean your biology is operating at its best.
We talked testosterone, hormones, sleep, stress, gut health, inflammation, and why I believe so strongly in one simple principle:
Test. Don’t guess.
Because one blood test is just a snapshot.
You need to understand the data, take action, and then track how your body actually responds.
That’s how you stop guessing and start making better decisions about your health.
And no, this isn’t about living to 150.
It’s about having the energy, clarity, strength, and drive to show up at your best today.
