Postpartum food and meal prep should be intentionally layered with nourishing fluids, nutrient-dense, easy-to-digest meals, and high-mileage snacks to turn to whenever you need them.

Of course, preparing food in advance—making broth, freezing soup, making energy bites—all of that helps!

But that’s often not enough to sustain the around-the-clock demands of early postpartum.

And food is really just one example.

More women are preparing for postpartum, but being prepared doesn’t mean you should have to do it all yourself once you’re there.

You can prepare really well and still need people to take care of you.

You can ask for more support. You can ask for more rest. You can expect to be cared for, too.

We’re nearly booked through January and are currently welcoming inquiries for 2027, with limited availability before then. If you’re expecting and thinking about postpartum support, I’d love to chat and hear what you’re envisioning.

Meet Baby Blue! He comes along on visits when I’m teaching infant massage, and today he joined me for a quick two-hour postpartum visit where we did some of the things we talk a lot less about. 💛

✨ baby massage + baby bath
✨ tea, belly bind + herbal salt foot soak
✨ put laundry away
✨ made lists to clear the mental chatter
✨ troubleshoot + share resources
✨ move a mattress from garage to floor to support her co-sleeping setup

I love these quick check-in visits with moms—when I go in for a couple of little things and somehow we accomplish so much more 😌

There was so much gratitude from this mom today. You could see what a reset it gave her in so many different areas of her day.

If you’re looking for slow, supportive, responsive postpartum care for you and your baby in the coming year, you know where to find us. 💛

I haven’t shared much here in quite a while, but we’ve very much still been here—caring for you, cooking lots of food, and supporting you through those early postpartum weeks.

I’m just coming back from a restful summer break and feeling so grateful for Emily Morgan who cared for so many of our families while I was away.

We have limited availability remaining for November and are currently booking December and January. If you’re expecting this winter and looking for postpartum support, we’re here for you. 🤍

This is little me.

Cheerful, eager, ready to say something…and honestly, pretty adorable ☺️

I don’t always recognize that version of myself.
But I think other people do.

I’ve always been someone who advocates.

For the underdog.
For the vulnerable.
For the ones who need real support—but aren’t always sure what to do next.

And I’ve always wanted people to take bold action when it comes to their well-being.

That’s a big part of what led me here.

Because while most areas of nutrition are full of opinions and mixed advice… postpartum is different.

Postpartum isn’t vague.

After birth, the body is in a very specific state—depleted, recovering, rebuilding.

And when you understand that, you don’t have to guess.

That’s why I love this work.

It’s not about trends, and it’s not about trying to piece it all together.
It’s about recognizing what’s happening—and responding in a way that sets healing in motion.

Caring for your body postpartum is more straightforward than people realize.

But here’s the part that matters most—

Just because you understand what to do, doesn’t mean you can or should do it on your own.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is choose to be seen… and supported.

If you’re preparing for postpartum and want to feel held through it, I’d love to support you in that 🤍

“I was skeptical at first…”

This is something I hear more often than you might think!

Inviting support into your home during such a tender time can feel like a big step. But when it’s the right kind of support, it often feels natural, grounding, and deeply helpful.

If you’re expecting and wondering what that could look like for you, send me a DM and we can talk. 🤍

“Milk all around.”

As I move from one family to the next, this is something I see again and again.

What you eat in those early weeks matters.
Not in a perfect way — in a consistent, supported way.

If you’re expecting and thinking about how you want to feel postpartum, send me a DM and we can talk about what support could look like for you.

Space is available for you this spring and beyond. 🤍

I haven’t been on here much lately because I’ve been supporting several new families during the early postpartum weeks. 💕

Sharing this message from one of the mothers I had the honor of supporting.

Postpartum recovery was never meant to be something mothers navigate alone. When mothers are fed, cared for, and supported during this time, everything about there postpartum experience changes.

If you’re looking hoping for a slower, more supported postpartum experience, I’m currently booking the following openings for in-home care in Sarasota:

April — 1 space
May — 2 spaces
June — full
July — full
August — 2 spaces
September — 1 space
October - 1 space maybe 2

If you’re expecting and one of these openings lines up with your due date, send me a DM and let’s chat. 🤍

You might already know that postpartum preparation matters.
You might already know that recovery after birth deserves care and attention.

But what often gets missed is this: in many ways, postpartum recovery is far simpler than it’s made to seem.

For thousands of years, traditional cultures understood how to tend to the mother after birth in ways that reoriented the body toward its own healing capacity. Not through complicated protocols, but through daily rhythms — food, rest, warmth, and small, consistent practices that supported what the body was already asking for.

That’s why, in my experience, having a daily framework matters so much.
Not as another thing to manage — but as a way to ground yourself in what actually supports recovery, day after day.

I created this daily checklist years ago by integrating Ayurvedic dinacharya with my training in traditional postpartum care — and the real, lived realities of early postpartum. Its purpose is simple: to take the guesswork out of what to do each day so you can feel more grounded, supported, and integrated in your own experience.

Because healing doesn’t need to be complicated.
It starts with what’s already right in front of you.

✨Comment “daily” if you want your days to feel held, step by step.
