You finally realize your yoga block isn’t a crutch… it’s a tool.

You don’t get a gold star for struggling to reach the floor.

Sometimes bringing the Earth up to you helps you find more stability, deeper engagement, better alignment, and a whole new experience of the pose.

Your props aren’t a sign that you’re “less advanced.”

They’re part of the practice.

Have you ever done an entire yoga practice using your blocks?

Tell me your favorite yoga prop below! 👇

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO SLOW DOWN?

Making time to slow down isn’t laziness.
It isn’t a reward for finishing everything on your to-do list.
And it’s definitely not just a wellness trend.

Rest is part of living a healthy life.

When we constantly rush, do, achieve, and push through, our bodies and nervous systems rarely get a chance to truly reset.

Rest gives us space to:
💜Restore our energy
💜Calm the nervous system
💜Support better sleep
💜Improve focus and clarity
💜Reconnect with our bodies
💜Create space for emotional balance

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely exhausted to rest.

You are allowed to slow down before you break down.

This week, ask yourself:

Where can I create a little more space to simply BE?

Because wellness isn’t only about how much you can do.

Sometimes, wellness is knowing when to stop.

Rest is not a reward.
Rest is part of the practice.

8/8 — THE LIONS GATE PORTAL

Today, August 8th, we step into the energy of 8/8 — a powerful symbol of infinity, abundance, inner strength, and transformation.

And here she is… Durga.
The Divine Mother.
The embodiment of courage, protection, strength, and compassion.

As the Lion’s Gate opens, may we remember that our greatest power isn’t found outside of us.

It lives within.

🔥 Release what no longer serves you.
🌙 Trust your intuition.
🦁 Stand courageously in your truth.
🧡 Make space for what you are ready to receive.

Take a deep breath.
Set your intention.
And step through the portal with an open heart.

What are you calling into your life on 8/8?

🦁I am open. I am protected. I am powerful. I am becoming.

Lion’s Gate Meets Lion’s Breath

As many people use the Lion’s Gate portal as a time for reflection, intention, and personal growth, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with your own inner lion.

Lion’s Breath (Simhasana) is a playful yet powerful yogic breathing practice that encourages you to release what you’ve been holding onto and step into the present with courage.

Inhale deeply through your nose.
🦁 Exhale with a loud “HA,” tongue extended, and let your roar be a reminder that your voice matters.

Today, ask yourself:
What am I ready to release?
Where can I be more courageous?
How can I show up more authentically?

Sometimes transformation doesn’t begin with a whisper.
Sometimes… it begins with a roar.

Join us on your mat as we breathe deeply, move mindfully, and embrace the strength that already lives within.

Sometimes even your yoga instructor has to give herself a pep talk before teaching. 🤍

We’re human too. We have hard days, low-energy days, and moments when motivation doesn’t come easily.

But every day you wake up is a gift. Be grateful you can open your eyes, get out of bed, take a deep breath, and move your body.

So if you’re waiting to “feel like it,” don’t. Roll out your mat, show up exactly as you are, and let the practice meet you there.

Your future self will thank you.

See you on the mat.

🏃‍♀️ Why every runner should practice yoga.

You don’t have to be flexible to start yoga—that’s one of the biggest myths. Yoga isn’t about touching your toes; it’s about taking care of your body so it can keep doing what you love.

For runners, yoga can help:

🧡 Improve mobility and range of motion
🧡 Increase balance and stability
🧡 Build strength in the muscles that support your joints
🧡 Reduce muscle tightness in the hips, hamstrings, calves, and feet
🧡Improve breathing efficiency and endurance
🧡 Speed up recovery after long runs
🧡 Help prevent common overuse injuries
🧡Calm the nervous system and sharpen mental focus before race day

The best time to start yoga isn’t when you’re flexible—it’s now. Whether you’ve been running for years or you’re training for your first 5K, yoga meets you exactly where you are.

Your body will thank you on your next run. 🧘‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Lion’s Gate Portal | Saturday, August 8 at 9:30 AM

Join Noelle for a special Flow & Yin Yoga practice as we honor the energy of the 8/8 Lion’s Gate Portal.

The Lion’s Gate Portal is associated with the annual alignment of the Sun in Leo and the bright star Sirius, a period that many spiritual traditions view as a time of heightened awareness, transformation, and intention-setting. While beliefs about its energetic effects vary, many people use this time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose.

Leo reminds us to live courageously, lead with the heart, and shine our authentic light. It invites us to release self-doubt, trust our inner wisdom, and step confidently into the next chapter of our lives.

Our practice will include:

Heart-opening Flow to awaken your energy

Deep Yin postures to encourage surrender and reflection

Breath-work to quiet the mind and ground the body

Meditation and intention setting to align with what you wish to cultivate

As you move and breathe, ask yourself:
• What am I ready to release?
• Where am I being called to grow?
• How can I live more authentically from my heart?
