🚨 What if your autoimmune symptoms aren't the whole story?
I kept hearing the same thing:
"Your immune system is attacking your body."
"You'll likely need medication long term."
"Just manage your symptoms."
“You will need steroids forever.”
But no one was asking me what might have triggered my immune system in the first place.
When I was diagnosed with lupus and perioral dermatitis, I decided to dig deeper.
Comprehensive testing revealed several underlying stressors, including:
✨ Bacterial overgrowth
✨ Yeast overgrowth
✨ Mold exposure
✨ Poor digestion and nutrient absorption
✨ Liver and gallbladder dysfunction
✨ An overwhelmed stress response
For me, these findings helped explain why my body was struggling. Once I started addressing those underlying imbalances with my healthcare team, my symptoms improved significantly.
Your body is constantly trying to adapt and protect you. Sometimes the symptoms we experience can be clues that it's under more stress than we realize.
If you've been diagnosed with:
• Lupus
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Hashimoto's
• Graves' disease
• Multiple sclerosis
• Sjögren's syndrome
• Type 1 diabetes
• Alopecia areata
• Psoriasis
• Dermatitis
• Eczema
• Celiac disease
• Crohn's disease
• Ulcerative colitis
..it may be worth asking whether there are additional factors contributing to your health picture.
