Celebrating REACH Health Careers Academies!

REACH Student Programs kicked summer off with our Health Careers Academies! During the academies, students participate in various activities that help them better understand the many different healthcare professions. These activities include presentations, simulations, hospital tours, games, and hands-on experiences.

In addition to gaining valuable knowledge and experience, REACH Health Careers Academies also allow students to network with healthcare professionals and other students who share their interests. This can be particularly valuable when it comes time to apply for college or healthcare programs.

Thank you to DeSoto Memorial Hospital (Academy Coordinator: Sarah Hipp), HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Academy Coordinator: Megan Hawkins), HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital (Academy Coordinator: Kelly Carr), and Sarasota Memorial Hospital (Academy Coordinator: Megan Hycner) for hosting us and providing our academy students with an unforgettable experience.
