This is a tough one 😓

It’s not our place to judge who needs therapy and who doesn’t, right? 🤔
However, I first went to therapy for the treatment of bulimia and childhood sexual abuse.

✨ My 40+ year healing path is a direct result of therapy. My personal experience with trauma is that if someone is in deep need of therapy and doesn’t want help, there is no helpful communication that will happen.

Without therapy or an awareness of what’s happening within, the person will almost always be determined, to misunderstand you. 💯

They often resort to:
💥Defensiveness
💥Redirecting the blame
💥Gaslighting
💥Hurtful words

Simple conversations about your feelings can turn into arguments, and it’s exhausting.

In my experience, truly the only way forward is with external intervention— with therapy or a trusted friend for  support, and honesty 🎗️

Healing deep wounds takes patience, support, and lots of vulnerable inner work. ✨ Remember we can never fix other people✨
