Happy Friday everyone! We are starting a new series called Ortho Minute. In it, we are interviewing patients who have had hip and knee replacement surgery so they can directly tell you about their success stories in a short minute long video.

As part of the program, we are excited about collecting "pro tips" from actual patients. Do you have a success story? What advice do you give your friends who are dealing with arthritis or preparing for surgery? We feel stories like those will really help the community at large.

No one should spend years suffering out of fear of getting conservative treatment or surgery. We hope hearing directly from patients will help demystify the process and outcomes.

Good morning everyone! Have you been hearing about robotic assistance in the OR during total knee replacement? Patients choosing to have robotic assistance have a CT scan together with our conventional x-rays ahead of surgery for a customized surgery. Are you curious to learn more about that?

Have you been hearing about "smart" implants (think smart wearables like smart watches, rings, etc but embedded in the implant). What is the benefit? How can these things aid in postoperative recovery?
