Memory care covers residents who require specialized treatment due to memory loss usually caused by Alzheimer’s, dementia, or another co

We finished off the week with happy hour! Residents enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and live music. Frank D. did a great job with his performance and really engaged the audience, encouraging everyone to participate and have fun. Residents had a wonderful time together, relaxing and enjoying the entertainment. We can’t wait for him to come back and perform again

We love starting our mornings with movement! Today, our residents enjoyed a chair band exercise class using resistance bands. One of the things they love most is that everyone can adjust the level of resistance simply by changing how they hold the band, allowing each person to exercise at their own comfort level and pace.

It's a fun way to build strength, improve flexibility, and stay active—all while encouraging each other and sharing plenty of smiles along the way.

After spending an hour relaxing with our Facial Spa & Meditation session, it was time to switch gears and enjoy an hour filled with laughter! 😂🎉
Today was our second time playing Telestrations, and it was just as big of a hit as the first! From the moment the game began until the very end, the room was filled with nonstop laughter. The funny drawings and hilarious guesses had everyone smiling, and our residents had an absolute blast. They were already asking when we can play it again!
Sometimes the best medicine is a little relaxation... followed by a whole lot of laughter! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing Facial Spa & Meditation Hour filled with peaceful music, soothing self-care, and time to simply unwind. 💆‍♀️🧘‍♀️
By the end of the session, everyone was saying how much better they felt, how much they needed the relaxation, and how grateful they were that we hosted this special event. Seeing their smiles and hearing how refreshed they felt reminded us just how important it is to take time to care for both the body and the mind. 💙

Our ice cream outing may have been canceled today, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a sweet treat! 🍦
Instead of going out, I surprised our residents by knocking on their doors and delivering ice cream right to them. While only eight residents had originally signed up for the outing, we were able to brighten the day of 24 residents with a delicious frozen treat!
Sometimes the best moments are the unexpected ones. Seeing all the smiles made today extra special! ❤️

Both our Memory Care and Assisted Living residents enjoyed recreating a beautiful three-line landscape inspired by artist Etel Adnan. This simple yet expressive art project encouraged creativity, self-expression, and conversation while giving everyone the opportunity to create a unique masterpiece.
