Your mental health during and after pregnancy is just as important as your physical health. We are sharing this important reminder from ACOG because we want our Sarasota patients to know they are never alone. If you are struggling with anxiety or depression, please reach out to our team at University Park OBGYN. We are here to listen and help you find the support you need. 🤍
It’s common for mental health to change during and after pregnancy. In fact, one in five women experiences mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or upsetting thoughts during this time.
If you think you may have anxiety, depression, or another mental health condition, getting help is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your loved ones. Your ob-gyn can talk with you about safe and effective treatment options and connect you with resources.
