The Humane Society of Manatee County’s Senior for Seniors program waives adoption fees for adopters 65+ who open their hearts and homes to pets 6 years and older. Sometimes the best companions have a little life experience, too. 🥰

Senior pets 6 years and older can be matched with senior adopters 65 and older, with the adoption fee waived.* Maybe it’s morning coffee with a cat curled up beside you. The best time to make a plan is before you need one💜

Some of the hardest conversations families have aren’t about where to move. They’re about when.

Waiting too long can limit options, create unnecessary stress, and force decisions during a crisis. Planning ahead gives families something invaluable: choices.

If you’ve started noticing changes in a loved one’s memory, mobility, nutrition, medication management, or ability to safely live at home, it may be time to start the conversation. The National Institute on Aging has an excellent resource to help families recognize these signs:

🧠 This month’s educational presentation will feature Medtronic discussing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
