Our VPK1 students had so much fun using their fine motor skills to create colorful Play-Doh faces! From rolling and pinching to shaping and decorating, every smile was a chance to strengthen hand muscles while letting their imaginations shine.

We're excited to welcome new families to our ABA Clinic, now accepting children ages 2–17 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy uses proven, evidence-based techniques to help children strengthen communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors in a supportive, individualized environment.

Our experienced team works closely with each child and family to create personalized goals that encourage growth, confidence, and independence.

80 Years of Impact!

In August 1949, the Manatee and Sarasota Easter Seal Societies officially incorporated with identical constitutions and by-laws, strengthening their shared commitment to supporting Happiness House and expanding services for children and families in our community.

This milestone laid the foundation for decades of compassionate care, inclusion, and opportunity which helped shape the Easterseals Southwest Florida we know today.

At Easterseals Southwest Florida, creativity and sustainability go hand in hand! Our talented adult artists are transforming recycled wood and aluminum cans into one-of-a-kind works of art. Every piece showcases their creativity, craftsmanship, and unique perspective while giving new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded.

These projects are more than art, they build confidence, develop skills, encourage self-expression, and demonstrate that everyone has incredible talents to share. And some are available for purchase. Stop by Happiness House, 350 Braden Ave., Sarasota to see the extensive collection. Together, we're creating opportunities, reducing waste, and celebrating the amazing abilities of the artists in our program.

Through hands-on training, career exploration, community-based learning, and self-advocacy, students gain confidence and real-world readiness for life after high school.
