When it's hot outside, it's nice when our friends at Dirty Sara-Soda stop by to cool us off! They are at our main campus until 1:30pm if you need a fun drink with lunch.

This month has brought another exciting milestone at the Malcolm Family Autism Center of Excellence. The most noticeable change is the newly paved parking areas! Seeing the blacktop in place is a visible reminder of how close we are to opening our doors. This important step also moves us closer to solving one of our long-standing challenges- providing adequate parking for the children, families, and staff we serve.

While the parking lots are not yet ready for daily use, this progress represents another significant step toward welcoming families into this transformative space.

😊🎨 Little hands, big creativity!

Our VPK1 students had so much fun using their fine motor skills to create colorful Play-Doh faces! From rolling and pinching to shaping and decorating, every smile was a chance to strengthen hand muscles while letting their imaginations shine.

80 Years of Impact!

In August 1949, the Manatee and Sarasota Easter Seal Societies officially incorporated with identical constitutions and by-laws, strengthening their shared commitment to supporting Happiness House and expanding services for children and families in our community.

This milestone laid the foundation for decades of compassionate care, inclusion, and opportunity which helped shape the Easterseals Southwest Florida we know today.

At Easterseals Southwest Florida, creativity and sustainability go hand in hand! Our talented adult artists are transforming recycled wood and aluminum cans into one-of-a-kind works of art. Every piece showcases their creativity, craftsmanship, and unique perspective while giving new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded.

These projects are more than art, they build confidence, develop skills, encourage self-expression, and demonstrate that everyone has incredible talents to share. And some are available for purchase.
