Your joints and muscles work together.

Sometimes the best way to help a joint move better is to address the surrounding muscles and soft tissue as well.

That’s why we often pair myofascial release with an adjustment. By working on both the muscles and the joint, we can help create better overall movement and function.

It’s not just about getting the joint to move, it’s about helping the whole body to move well together.

We don’t look at just the joints- we take a full body approach.

When your muscles, joints, and nervous system work together, your body doesn’t have to compensate.

That means:
* Improved overall function
* Better performance
* Faster recovery
* Less unnecessary strain
* More freedom to do what you love

One of the most common questions we get is, “Does it hurt?” or “What will I feel afterward?”

Like most injections, it’s normal to have a little soreness or tenderness at the injection site. You may also notice a feeling of heaviness or stiffness in the treated area for a few minutes to a few hours—that’s a common response to the ozone.

That’s exactly why we use laser therapy immediately after your injection and encourage you to keep moving. Gentle movement helps the ozone disperse through the tissue and can help you feel more comfortable afterward.

The entire treatment usually takes just a few minutes, and most patients are able to get back to their normal daily activities the same day (while following any activity recommendations we give them).

Often when people hear “ozone injections,” they have no idea what they are or what the process actually looks like.

So, what is ozone?
Ozone is a mixture of medical-grade oxygen and ozone (O₃), a molecule made up of three oxygen atoms.

When injected into a muscle, ozone is used to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. It may help reduce pain, improve local circulation, decrease inflammation, and support tissue healing and recovery.

After the injection, we often use laser therapy to further support the healing process. The laser helps stimulate cellular energy, may enhance the local effects of the treatment, and can help reduce some of the soreness that is common after an injection.

Every patient and condition is different, but the goal is always the same: to help your body heal more efficiently so you can get back to doing what you love.
