Proper handwashing is always important, but especially now with kids being back in school! 👏
It’s recommended to wash hands with soap and warm running water for at least 20 seconds to stop germs from spreading. If soap is unavailable, it is recommended to use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing 60-90% alcohol.
Everyone should wash their hands before eating or preparing food, after using the restroom, after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose, after touching garbage or animals, and whenever hands look dirty.
