Duties
Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns.
Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
Provide therapeutic massage sessions focused on pain management, stress reduction, and occupational health.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations.
Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
Expertise in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
Ability to assess patient needs effectively through patient assessment skills.
Knowledge of occupational health principles related to workplace stress and injury prevention.
Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to educate clients clearly about treatment options and health benefits.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care and well-being. This position is integral to providing holistic health services that enhance our clients' quality of life through expert massage therapy techniques delivered in a professional setting.
