Losing your edge doesn’t happen overnight.
It’s a slow degradation: a little more tired, a little less decisive, a little more reactive. You accommodate. You get used to it.
Think of a high-performance engine slowly losing output. If it happened overnight, you’d notice immediately. Over a couple of years? You don’t notice you’ve gone from 100 mph to 60.
When’s the last time you compared yourself to where you were 2-3 years ago?
