Recurring headaches, dizziness, brain fog, or neck tension may be signs that your nervous system isn’t communicating as efficiently as it should.

At Demuth Spinal Care & Concussion Center, we focus on finding the “why,” not just managing the symptoms.

Help us celebrate Jason and his progress! 🙌

We’re excited to recognize Jason and the improvements he’s experienced through his care at Demuth Spinal Care & Concussion Center.

Jason came to our office dealing with neck pain that was contributing to headaches. After receiving Atlas Orthogonal care and following his recommended exercises, he shared that he’s feeling great and noticing meaningful changes in his day-to-day life.

One of the biggest victories? Being able to roll over in bed without neck pain shooting into his head and no longer having headaches that develop into migraines.

Jason also reported improvements in sleep, mobility, stress levels, pain, and headache frequency.

When asked what advice he would give someone considering Atlas Orthogonal care, he said:

“Definitely check into it. You may not realize what could be affected in your body by not having it in the correct position.”

Congratulations, Jason! We’re grateful to be part of your journey and look forward to seeing your continued progress. 💙

The scan came back clear. Everyone told you that's good news. So why do you still feel foggy, off-balance, and not like yourself months later?

What you're feeling is real, and there's a reason it can outlast a normal scan.
Here's the part that often gets missed. The same force that causes a concussion almost always travels through the neck. The atlas (C1) and axis (C2) sit directly below the brainstem, and when an impact disturbs their position it can influence how your nervous system regulates everything from balance to head pressure to clear thinking.
The brain gets the attention. The upper cervical injury frequently goes un-evaluated.
This is the work we specialize in. Demuth Spinal Care and Concussion Center offers focused protocols for post-concussion symptoms, using objective imaging and structured re-evaluations rather than guesswork. Many patients with lingering symptoms have undetected upper cervical involvement, and often report meaningful changes in symptom intensity and frequency.

If a clear scan didn't match how you feel, that gap is worth exploring. Comment CONSULT or call our office today!

Your jaw clicks on the same side your neck aches. You've probably been told those are two separate problems.

They often aren't.

The trigeminal nerve, which serves your face and jaw, shares signaling pathways with the upper neck at the level of the brainstem. The atlas (C1) and axis (C2) also carry the full weight of your head and act as the pivot for nearly every head movement. So when this region is strained, after whiplash, a fall, or years of postural load, the jaw and the neck frequently move together as one pattern, not two.
That's why treating the jaw alone, or the neck alone, can leave you circling back to the same symptoms.

Upper cervical care looks at that shared foundation. We use objective imaging to evaluate the C1/C2 region precisely, then re-measure to track what's actually changing. Patients with TMJ symptoms often have upper cervical involvement, and addressing it is associated with shifts in both neck and jaw patterns.

If your jaw and neck have been telling the same story, let's take a real look. Call our office today to book your assessment!

🎉 Winner number two!

Congratulations to Chaz, the second winner of our Father’s Day Giveaway! He won a $100 gift card to Swing House Golf Sims

Here’s what makes this one extra special to us.
Chaz’s two daughters are dancers, and we have the joy of caring for them in our practice. Dancers ask an incredible amount of their bodies: balance, control, posture, and precision on every single movement.

That is exactly where our focus on optimal performance comes in. Our focus is the spine and nervous system, the communication network behind every jump, turn, and stride. When the body is supported and working as one connected system, young athletes and dancers can train harder, perform stronger, and keep doing what they love.

Whether your athlete is on the stage, the field, the mat, or the ice, we would love to be part of their game plan. Parents and coaches, message us or call to book an evaluation. 💙
