Quality Life Services In 1973 the late Kenneth R. Tack Sr. and his wife Nancy had a dream to start a new business after selling their share in Tack and Sons' Builder Supply.

Quality Life Services owns and operates 10 nursing homes, 7 personal care homes, Quality Pharmacy, Family Home Health and Three Rivers Hospice in Western Pennsylvania. That dream eventually became Sugar Creek Rest Nursing Home in Worthington, PA. Not knowing much about healthcare, they enlisted the help of their children in getting the business off the ground. During the first few years of operati

on at Sugar Creek Rest it truly was a family affair. Ken Tack Jr. and his brother Phil joined their parents to work at Sugar Creek Rest with their wives Maxine and Susan. Incidentally, the first Director of Nursing was Jean Madden, their sister. Over 34 years the company has grown and today employs over 1000 people, making it one of the largest family-owned businesses in Butler County.

Eldercare and Estate Planning with Tim Sechler tomorrow, August 18th, 6:30PM-7:30PM
We are proud to join the South Butler Community Library for a free workshop presented by Tim Sechler, ESQ, CELA of Sechler Law Firm, LLC , specializing in Wills, Trusts & Elder Law. During the evening you will hear straightforward facts about the following topics: Wills vs Trusts, Protecting assets from Long Term Care Costs, Avoiding common estate planning mistakes, Protecting your kids' inheritance from divorce, and the Impact of the newly passed Secure Act on your IRA. All community members are invited to attend.

QLS-Chicora residents had a great time during their Annual VBS week hosted by Pastor Amy. The theme this year was Rainforest Falls, Exploring the True Nature of God.
