My new Office! 1290 Highway A1A Satellite Beach, FL 32937. I am in love! I have my main office, my lounge with a coffee bar, a small room if anyone needs to hang out in after session if they are not ready to go out into the world yet, and the big waiting room. Oh, and we cannot forget about my hermit crab named Eyeball. He is currently molting and may or may not come up for the next six months. Whatever he feels like I guess. ❤️ 🙏

Long stretch of cold starts with this weekends winter storm for most the country. Florida however sticks out like a sore thumb, at least for a few days. You get your cold next week. Monday morning lows show a 90 degree temp difference! 90% of the US will be freezing. Any power outages this weekends ice storm magnifies this impact for many.

I am excited to announce that New Hope Counseling Center will be moving to a new location roughly a quarter of a mile down the beach at 1290 Highway A1A Suite #202 Satellite Beach, FL 32937 the weekend of February 14, 2026. After a long and dedicated career, Nick (my Dad) will be retiring, and will be greatly missed. It's been my Dad and I, my Mom, as well as a wonderful team over the decades. It's time for my Dad to go play on his boat and get back to flying planes and doing all of the other Dad stuff that he likes to do as well as spending time with my Mom. I will still be fully in business for anyone that needs my help. Dr. Donovan will be available in his own space as well. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! I (therapist Jen) will be working every day next week aside from New Year's Day. Office manager Jen will be in the office most days as well. If you can't get a hold of us, please leave a message because we *always* check our voicemail. I hope everyone has a relaxing break just like Smudge.

The office will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, for Thanksgiving. Both Jen's will be in the office for a brief period on Friday, so please leave a message if you need anything. We hope everyone enjoys their time with family as we give thanks. 🙏 🦃

We will be open Friday, October 11. Luckily we did not have any damages at the office. We hope everyone is safe and we extend our prayers to anyone affected by Helene and Milton.

Monday 8pm NHC update on Milton. 180mph winds. 897mb pressure (near record low). "MILTON POSES AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS THREAT TO FLORIDA AND RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO FOLLOW THE ORDERS OF LOCAL OFFICIALS".
