Can we talk about the mental load
for a minute? πŸ’›

Not the to-do list.
Not the calendar.
Not the work deadlines.

The invisible one.

The one that runs constantly
in the background of your mind
like an app you can never quite
close:

β†’ Did I follow up on that email?
β†’ Does my child need something
for school tomorrow?
β†’ Did I remember to call her back?
β†’ Am I doing enough?
β†’ Am I enough?

High-achieving women carry an
extraordinary amount β€” not just
in their schedules but in their
minds.

And the cruel irony?

The more capable you are, the more
gets loaded onto you. Because
everyone around you knows you
can handle it.

But handling it and being okay
are not the same thing.

You are allowed to put some of
it down.

Not all of it. Not forever.
Just enough to breathe. πŸ’›

Which item on your mental load
are you most ready to release?
Drop it in the comments πŸ‘‡

Save this and share it with the
woman in your life who carries
too much. πŸ’›

Nobody is coming to give you permission.
So I will. πŸ’›

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am officially giving you permission to:

βœ” Say no β€” without explaining yourself
βœ” Change your mind β€” without apologizing
βœ” Leave the group chat β€” without guilt
βœ” Skip the event β€” without a detailed excuse
βœ” Ask for help β€” without feeling like a burden
βœ” Disappoint someone β€” without it meaning
you are a bad person
βœ” Put yourself first β€” without calling
it selfish

Here's what nobody told you about
people pleasing:

It feels like kindness.
It feels like being a good friend,
daughter, mother, colleague.

But underneath it is a quiet belief
that your needs matter less than
everyone else's.

And that belief?
It is exhausting you.

You do not need to earn your place
in the rooms you already belong in.

You do not need to shrink yourself
to make others comfortable.

You do not need permission to
take up space.

But if you do β€”
consider this yours. πŸ’›

Save this. Screenshot it.
Put it somewhere you'll see it
on the hard days.

And tag a woman who needs her
own permission slip today. πŸ‘‡

So often the families we work with
are incredible β€” showing up fully
for their children every single day.

But when I ask the moms how they're doing?

"I'm fine. The kids are good."

Sweet friend β€” you are not just a mother.
You are a whole person who deserves
care, rest, joy, and support too.

And here's what I know for certain:

The best thing you can do for your
child is take care of yourself.

Not perfectly. Not dramatically.
Just intentionally.

One small act of self-care today.
That's it. That's the whole assignment. πŸ’›

What's one thing you're doing for
YOU this week? Drop it below πŸ‘‡
I'd love to celebrate it with you.

Share this with a mama who needs
the reminder today. πŸ’›

Can I tell you why I created this journal? πŸ’›

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, I've seen
firsthand how transformative journaling can be.
I practice it myself β€” regularly β€” to help me
better understand my own reactions to life
and the experiences that shape me.

But here's what I kept noticing with the women
I work with:

They were being hard on themselves even in their
own journals.

The one place meant to be a safe space for
their thoughts β€” and they were still showing up
with self-criticism, judgment, and impossibly
high standards for themselves.

So I created something different.

The Self-Compassion Journal was designed
specifically for the overwhelmed woman who
doesn't know where to start β€” and who needs
gentle guidance toward giving herself the grace
and compassion she so freely gives everyone else.

Because you deserve to be on your own side. πŸ’›

Parents, can we talk about what's really happening
with our kids right now? πŸ‘‡

Today's children and teens are navigating pressures
that didn't exist a generation ago β€” social media
comparison, academic intensity, cultural expectations,
and a mental health crisis that nobody prepared them for.

And most of them don't have the words to tell you
they're struggling.

In our workshop "Young Minds Under Pressure," we
break down exactly what your child may be experiencing
and what you as a parent can do about it β€” in language
that's practical, compassionate, and real.

πŸŽ“ Now available for purchase at just $55
This is the conversation every parent needs to have.

Burnout isn't a character flaw. It's a signal. πŸ”–

And for high-achieving women, that signal often gets
ignored for years β€” because you've gotten really good
at pushing through.

But here's what I know after years of working with
professional women:

Pushing through isn't the same as healing.

If you've been feeling exhausted, disconnected, or like
you're running on empty while still showing up for
everyone else β€” your mind and body are trying to
tell you something important.

You deserve to actually listen.

Save this if you needed the reminder today. πŸ’›
And share it with someone who needs to hear it. πŸ‘‡

Can we talk about something nobody warns you about as a high-achieving woman? 🚩

πŸͺœThe higher you climb, the louder the exhaustion gets.

You've worked so hard to build this life. But somewhere along the way, "showing up" became the only thing you had energy left for. πŸ˜“

➑️Here's what I want you to know: feeling this way doesn't mean you're failing. It means you're human β€” and you deserve real support. πŸ’―

Save this if you needed to hear it today. πŸ’›

πŸ“£Did you know that anxiety doesn't always look like panic?

For many high-achieving women, anxiety shows up as
over-preparing, difficulty delegating, trouble sleeping,
and never feeling "done enough."πŸ™ƒ

πŸ’šIf you've been feeling like you're holding everything
together but barely holding on β€” this is your reminder
that what you're experiencing has a name, and help exists.πŸ’š
