Just your average day at a dermatology office. 👒

While sunscreen is an essential part of any sun protection routine, don’t forget about the other ways to protect your skin, too:
☀️ Wear a wide-brimmed sun hat
☀️ Choose UPF-rated clothing when you’ll be outdoors
☀️ Seek shade when possible
☀️ Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours (and after swimming or sweating)

SMD alumna Solana stopped by with her mom to say hello to the team and Dr. Decker. Solana is a former medical assistant who is now pursuing her dream of becoming a physician assistant through Stanford’s PA program.

Always such a treat to have a past team member stop by and say hello!

Gisselle who was a medical assistant at SMD and typically supported Dr. Smith’s clinic has just finished her first year of PA school at Stanford. She’s even been selected as one of the six teaching assistants for next year’s anatomy course —which is quite the honor! We are so excited to see her continue pursuing her passion for medicine and are cheering for her every step of the way. 💙🥼
