You taught them to walk.
You taught them to ride a bike.
Now you're teaching them to drive.
The lessons change, but the job doesn't.
They may be taller than you now. They may roll their eyes more often than they'd like to admit. They may insist they already know everything.
But they're still learning.
They're learning how to drive, how to navigate friendships, how to manage stress, how to make decisions, and how to become independent adults.
They're growing up.
But they still need a parent beside them while they figure it out.
And that's exactly what you're doing. ❤️
(Though maybe with a little more anxiety when they're behind the wheel.) 😅
