Our deepest triggers are often not created in the present. They are echoes of the past, revealing the places within us that still need understanding, compassion, and healing.

When criticism feels unbearable, rejection feels devastating, or conflict leaves you frozen, it may be less about what is happening now and more about old wounds that were never given the chance to heal. Instead of asking, "Why am I so triggered?" try asking, "What part of me is asking for compassion?"

Healing begins when we stop judging our reactions and start becoming curious about them. Every trigger is an invitation to understand yourself more deeply, release what no longer serves you, and respond with greater wisdom instead of automatic pain.

Your past may explain your reactions, but it does not have to define your future. With awareness, patience, and self-compassion, even your deepest wounds can become sources of strength.
