💙 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: BRANDI CALKINS, RN 💙

Meet Brandi Calkins, Clinical Coordinator at The Darryl Worley Cancer Center!

Brandi is an essential part of our care team, serving our patients as both our clinical coordinator and an infusion nurse. From chemotherapy and immunotherapy to iron, antibiotics, injections, and other treatments, Brandi brings compassion and dedication to every patient she cares for.

When asked about the best part of working at Hardin Medical Center, Brandi said it’s the family she has found in her coworkers—supporting and encouraging one another both at work and in life. 💙

Outside of work, Brandi loves spending time with her husband, Justin, their daughter, Blakely, and their three dogs, Athena, Zeus, and Delilah. She also enjoys time with family and friends, bowling, reading, and visiting our local Mexican restaurants!

We are so thankful to have Brandi as part of the DWCC family and appreciate the difference she makes in the lives of our patients each day. Please help us show Brandi some love! 💙

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL LDI-Leadership is about continually learning, growing, and inspiring others—and having a little fun along the way!

Each quarter, Hardin Medical Center's leadership team comes together for our Leadership Development Institute (LDI) to strengthen leadership skills, explore new strategies, and connect outside our daily responsibilities.

Close to 50 HMC leaders attended our latest LDI at The Lodge at Pickwick Landing State Park in Counce, Tennessee. Inspired by the optimism and teamwork of Ted Lasso, the event encouraged everyone to lead with purpose, support one another, and always BELIEVE! Attendees were also honored to hear inspiring presentations and survey results from Healthcare Solutions Group members Regina Shupe, DNP, RN, and Patricia Frank, MSN, RN, FACHE; quotes and quips from Ted Lasso; and even a word from the United States Navy admiral, whose lessons on leadership, service, and teamwork made the day especially memorable.

We are proud of our leaders and their commitment to making Hardin Medical Center an exceptional place to work, practice medicine, and receive healthcare.
