The Lindsay Clancy case is impossibly disturbing, terrifying, and sad. It's also hugely important for raising awareness about perinatal mental health, postpartum psychosis, the necessity of care coordination, and the soul-level devastation that can run rampant through the homes of postpartum women.

The passages read from Lindsay's journal on Monday could have been written by any postpartum client I've ever worked with; they could have been written by me. Her pain, desperation, and fear is palpable, and also sadly ordinary for SO many women.

Come on over to on Instagram for World Maternal Mental Health Day! I'll be chatting with PSI Georgia Chapter President Tameka Mitchell about the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health, the maternal mental health movement, and why you should be part of it. 🧡

Georgia, it’s time to ignite a movement!

We aren’t just raising awareness; we’re raising the bar for care in our state. With 1 in 5 moms and 1 in 10 dads facing mental health challenges, we are committed to ensuring every parent in Georgia has a clear path to healing.

Join PSI GA Chapter President Tameka Mitchell and Bridget Cross, LCSW, PMH-C (PSI GA Board Member & GA Fund Founder) for a special IG Live as we gear up for World Maternal Mental Health Day on May 6th!

📍Where: Instagram
⏰When: 12 PM EST

How you can join the movement:

💙Wear Blue: On May 6th, wear the universal color of perinatal mental health. Let’s paint Georgia blue to show every parent they are not alone! Take a picture and tag us

🎁Support a Parent: We’re asking our community to gift $25 to the GA Fund for Perinatal Mental Health. Your contribution helps provide life-saving therapy sessions for parents across our state.

Together, we don't just survive—Together We Thrive!
