Our independent living facilities are provided with three meals per day, weekly bed and bath linen service, weekly housekeeping service, scheduled transportation and a monitored emergency call system. The common areas – the library, dining room, exercise rooms and porches – are part of the space they call home as well. Assisted living provides those things with more watchful oversight and assistance. We have licensed nursing personnel, medication monitoring program, assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking (if needed), weekly laundry and linen service, full housekeeping and maintenance service. We also offer reminder service and transportation for medical appointments, and we have lots of activities like Bingo, arts and crafts, ice cream socials, musical events, walks and exercise times together. Rose Lane Alzheimer’s Care provides the above services in a more structured environment with specially trained staff. We assess each person and plan daily care and the health monitoring needed. We offer opportunities to socialize through shared activities like sing-a-longs; exercising the mind with board games or trivia questions; exercising the body through fitness walks or armchair aerobics; sensory workouts; spiritual opportunities through religious services, scripture studies and hymn singing; and accomplishing daily tasks together like making beds, cooking and gardening.
